I wanted to take a minute and welcome you to this blog. Eventually we will have a website but until then this is a way to let everyone know what's going on. Please contact me @ ladyfurebear@yahoo.com for more information, how to join our group, or if you have a link, story or other information you'd like to share with us.

ME CFC Goals

1. As a group we will seek to reduce recidivism by reforming public policy and encouraging people to live offense free lives: by offering support to Former Offenders and their families; through networking, education and other areas of need.
2. Develop a core group that attends each and every committee and work session where relevant bills are being developed or voted on.
3. Our group will seek to educate the media, the public, the Legislature and the Governor on the facts vs the myths concerning the Registry and it's effects on everyone including not only the Former Offender and their families but on the community as a whole.
a. Develop a positive working relationship with the State Government
4. Work with and network with other groups in our state who are also seeking to Protect Children and/or protect the Constitutional Rights of all.

Poem

First they came for the Communists and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Catholics and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant.
Then they came for me, but by that time, no one was left to speak up.
- Pastor Martin Niemoeller, Nazi Germany
